औरंगाबाद जिले के भिन्न भिन्न थाना क्षेत्रों में चलाए गए अभियान के क्रम में कूल 42 लोगों को गिरफ्तार कर न्यायिक हिरासत में जेल भेज दिया गया है। उक्त जानकारी पुलिस अधीक्षक कार्यालय से जारी प्रेस नोट से प्राप्त हुई है। जारी प्रेस नोट के अनुसार पुलिस पर हमला मामले में 6, एन०डी०पी०एस० एक्ट मामले में 1, खनन मामले में 3, वाहन चोरी मामले में 2,मध निषेध मामले में 6, अजमानतीय वारंट में 24 को गिरफ्तार किया गया है। साथ ही अजमानतीय वारंट निष्पादन 24 तथा देशी शराब 94 ली०, महुआ शराब 20 ली०, विदेशी शराब 147.62 ली० बाइक 3, ट्रैक्टर 3, ट्रक 3 , जेसीबी 1, गांजा 200 ग्राम, मोरम 220 सीएफटी, गिट्टी 1400 सीएफटी, बालू 1000 सीएफटी, मोबाइल 1, मास्टर चाभी जप्त किया गया है। वहीं शमन की राशि तथा वाहन जांच के क्रम में 10000 रू वसुला गया है। एक अन्य जानकारी के अनुसार नगर थाना द्वारा सघन बैंक जांच के क्रम में औरंगाबाद स्टेट बैंक ऑफ
इंडिया की जांच की जा रही थी। उसी क्रम में बैंक में उपस्थित दो संदिग्ध को हिरासत में लेकर जांच किया गया तो ज्ञात हुआ कि दोनों संदिग्ध कोढ़ा गैंग के सक्रिय सदस्य हैं। तथा बैंक में घटना कार्य करने के उद्देश्य से आए हैं। दोनों हिरासत में लिए कूड़ा गैंग के सदस्यों की तलाशी ली गई तो उनके पास से एक चोरी का पल्सर 200ccमोटरसाइकिल, 3 मोबाइल, 5 सिम कार्ड, 6 पुड़िया खुजली का पाउडर, 1 लोहे का बना डिक्की खोलने वाला मास्टर चाभी बारमद हुआ। कोढ़ा गैंग के सदस्य विकास कुमार उर्फ मनीष, पिता स्वर्गीय प्रेम लाल यादव ग्राम नया टोला जुबारगंज थाना कोढ़ा, अमन कुमार यादव पिता ललन यादव ग्राम+थाना रौतारा दोनो जिला कटिहार को गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया है। उक्त जानकारी पुलिस अधीक्षक कार्यालय से जारी प्रेस नोट से प्राप्त हुई है।
