परशुराम पासवान ने 1मार्च को संजय को प्रदेश महासचिव पद पर नियुक्त करते हुए उन्हें पत्र भेजकर उम्मीद जताते हुए कहे कि आपको तत्काल प्रभाव से प्रदेश महासचिव पद का कार्य भार ग्रहण कर पार्टी को मजबूती प्रदान करने के दिशा में सक्रिय भूमिका निभाने से पार्टी को मजबूती प्रदान होगा। प्रदेश महासचिव बनने के बाद संजय ने पार्टी सुप्रीमो चिराग पासवान एवं एसटी एसटी प्रकोष्ठ के प्रदेश अध्यक्ष परशुराम पासवान के प्रति अभार जताया है वहीं संजय के समर्थकों में प्रसन्नता ब्याप्त है।
