केरल के पूर्व राज्यपाल निखिल कुमार ने पटना मे शनिवार को देर शाम मुख्यमंत्री नीतीश कुमार से मुलाकात कर विकास के साथ राजनीतिक चर्चा की। पुर्व राज्यपाल निखिल कुमार ने 2024 लोकसभा चुनाव एक जूट होकर चुनाव लडने की बात कही। कुछ घंटे तक पूर्व राज्यपाल एवं मुख्यमंत्री नीतीश कुमार के बीच औरंगाबाद जिले की विकास के बारे में अहम चर्चा हुई। सबसे पहले मुख्यमंत्री नीतीश कुमार के साथ बिहार के वित्तमंत्री विजय कुमार चौधरी, भवन निर्माण विभाग के मंत्री अशोक चौधरी समेत अन्य कई लोग ने पुर्व राज्यपाल निखिल कुमार को 82 वीं जन्मदिन पर
बधाई दी और उनकी लंबी उम्र और स्वस्थ जीवन की कामना की। पूर्व राज्यपाल ने मुख्यमंत्री सहित अन्य लोगों द्वारा जन्मदिन पर शुभकामना दिए जाने पर सभी का धन्यवाद किया। पूर्व राज्यपाल ने कहा हमारे जन्मदिन पर शुभकामनाओं के लिए सभी को आभार। आप सबकी प्रार्थनाओं, दुआओं से हमें विकास पथ पर निरंतर चलने की ऊर्जा मिलती है। आप सबके सहयोग, शुभकामनाओं और आशीर्वाद से हम सब मिलकर देश व प्रदेश को विकास की नई ऊंचाइयों पर ले जाएंगे। पूर्व राज्यपाल निखिल कुमार ने सभी को एकजुट होकर बिहार के विकास के मुद्दे पर बात की गई बिहार को विशेष राज्य का दर्जा मिलना चाहिए इसे केंद्रीय सरकार नाइंसाफ़ी कर रही है बिहार अपने दम पर आगे बढ़ रहा है। बिहार में कांग्रेस, जेडीयू और राजद एवं सभी प्रमुख विपछी दलों को साथ मिलकर इस नाइंसाफ़ी करने वाली बीजेपी पार्टी को मुंहतोड़ जवाब देना ही लक्ष्य है। बिहार के विकास के कई अहम मुद्दे पर पूर्व राज्यपाल और मुख्यमंत्री के बीच बातचीत हुई और साथ ही औरंगाबाद ज़िले की विकास को लेकर अहम बात हुई। कांग्रेसी नेता मो शहनवाज़ रहमान उर्फ़ सल्लू ख़ान ने बताया की मुख्यमंत्री नीतीश कुमार को केरल के पूर्व राज्यपाल निखिल कुमार में मेडिकल कॉलेज खोलने के लिए, सीआरपीएफ़ सेंटर की ज़मीन, केंद्रीय विद्यालय की ज़मीन, उत्तर कोयल नहर की ज़मीन को उपलब्ध कराने के लिए और ज़िले के विकास के अहम मुद्दे पर पूर्व राज्यपाल ने मुख्यमंत्री को सुझाओ दिये।
