औरंगाबाद जिले के भिन्न भिन्न थाना क्षेत्रों में पुलिस अधीक्षक स्वप्ना जी मेश्राम के निर्देशानुसार चलाए जा रहे लगातार समकालीन अभियान से पुलिस को आए दिन सफलता प्राप्त हो रही है वहीं अपराधियों तथा माफियाओं के बीच हड़कंप मच गया है। मंगलवार को भी पुलिस अधीक्षक कार्यालय से जारी प्रेस नोट के अनुसार जिले के भिन्न भिन्न थाना क्षेत्रों में पुलिस द्वारा चलाए गए ऑपरेशन में जहां 17 लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया गया है वहीं 3ट्रैक्टर ,3सौ सीएफटी बालू ,एक देशी कट्टा, 115.2ली०देशी शराब, 6.3ली०महुआ शराब जप्त किया गया है वहीं 13,500रुपए वाहन चेकिंग एवं शमन की राशि वसूला गया है। पुलिस अधीक्षक कार्यालय से जारी प्रेस नोट के अनुसार खनन मामले में 2, नक्सली कांड में 1, अजमानतीय वारंट में 3, विविध कांडों में 1, एस टी एसटी मामले में 1तथा शराब मामले में 9लोगों को गिरफ्तार कर न्यायिक हिरासत में जेल भेजा गया है।
